There had been a lot of debate on Reservation in education, where a deserving candidate can only curse his parents for his birth in a caste biased family. But the real challenge lies beyond that part, some dropped their dream some forget and some tried to pull the cart again to get the pace. Their has been a new trend now a days and that is FAVORITISM, everybody is a victim of this favoritism, some as sufferers and others as beneficiaries.

Their is a trend which is being followed from school life when from a group of students some particular or some favorable kid is being selected for most of the task and being given the face value for the institutions, but that happens with the abilities and quality factor related with him.  But now a days concept is the same but the ability thing is being converted into foot licking concept. The one who follow their respective teachers is the one who become favorites. Education is now a days is becoming a more of a game, which just deals with lust and greed, talents is just a word. Teachers want their students to behave like Eklavya and consider no less then a Dronacharya’s . We traveled from the era of ink and feather for writing purpose to digital gadgets yet the society wants to follow those baba Adam’s era’s logics. Change is the only permanent thing which can occur in this universe, so it is also a two way process . with digital advancements one should learn if not then also accept that the younger generation will have a good and broader knowledge then you. This advancement is bringing the gap between this teacher student relationship. Favoritism is also a term which is being emerged from  technological advancement. Its a common thing now a days when you just lost it due to favoritism issues. A guy or girl who used to follow every order of  his or her con cern teacher related or not related with education purposes is the one who emerges as a favorite one. Teacher now a days demand from students to come showcase their talents rather then a teacher should help a student to realise him or her real effort. Ego is the term which is broadening the gap between  teacher and student but is it right from the teachers perspective that he have an ego issue against students?

May you say no but you cant deny this fact of ego issues now a days, this is indeed a great obstacle in nurturing our country’s talent and future resources. No government can do anything about it but one have to change his mind set. Their is no age defined for learning and this is to be notrd by the students as well as teachers.
